Starting May 12, the Exponent will publish Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Aug. 1, except when classes are canceled for holidays. The Exponent Web page will be updated with any break news outside print publication dates.

Yearbook out with the old and in with the new
After 118 years of recording memories, the Purdue Debris is focusing on "Bringing it Back."
That's the theme of the 2007-2008 Purdue yearbook. Because of declining sales and lack of student interest, the Purdue Debris organization has decided that this yearbook will be its last in the traditional format.
"No one really knows why the interest in college yearbooks has gone down nationwide," wrote Emily Heiser, the incoming editor-in-chief for the 2009 Debris and a senior in the College of Liberal Arts, in an e-mail. She said she suspects the Internet has made a difference in the way students view traditional yearbooks.
